This must've been said 10 times now and people keep ignoring it. Again seems like some people choosing to see what they want to in order to be angry about it. Don't see another explanation for repeatedly ignoring this.

Someone else made the point earlier but needs restating -
our midfield is ****
and its why we wont finish playoffs

im still surprised why we didnt upgrade in this area

and attack, we are worse. tetteh big miss imo

Slater or Tufan arent weak as piss, neither is Doc but as a physical specimen, good footballer as he is Woods was the worst signing we made on a permanent last season.

At least Dodo has resale value in superlig.

Suspect were really having to work on getting Woods out

Connolly deal is good. If he wants to put himself in the shop window for a move elsewhere - then he has to deliver this season. If he doesn’t deliver, we haven’t over committed.

Sensible. I hope the bed wetters understand.

I think if his time here is a success, after failures at other clubs, then why would he want to risk going to another club, unless it was EPL when I guess we would get a good fee for him. I think there is a fairly good chance he would want to stay where he has had success.

Should it not work out, then the club is not committed to be stuck with a dud.

Seems a good deal all round, IMO.

It's pretty much a work experience gig for the lad. A fair few people I know are scratching their heads at it as it's going to be very difficult for us to see any benefit from it. It's almost like he's doing them a favour in the hope they do us one further down the line maybe

If he tears it up in the U21’s for the next three months, he could potentially be switched to the first team in January.

On paper, we are marginally stronger with Vinigre if he stays fit.

In a league that has strengthened, that keeps you standing still.

I dont believe this crap about preseason making a difference.
All clubs have had preseasons so thats no advantage.

All our other incomings rely on the new signings suddenly discovering form that they haven't demonstrated at this level for the past one or two seasons.

I suspect we will lose today at Norwich reconfirming the strength of the league, as i think Norwich wont also make the playoffs. That may be a good thing - the window hasnt shut yet and a defeat may force through some transfer decisions between now and the end of the month.

Slater and Seri aren't weak as piss? No, I completely agree, I'd argue they're even weaker.

"Graham Potter and Brighton were not able to help him do that. Which seems odd, given Potter was always vaunted for his masters degree in emotional intelligence."

Easily explainable:

Reactions: Evington
For what it is worth, I had a chat with a good friend of mine who is a Burnley supporter and shareholder. I asked if there was any noise about Twine coming our way.

Not exactly, he said Twine is good at dead ball free kicks, but the general feeling is a bit of a light weight. Company is looking to get some players out, so a loan might be a possibility, though a permanent not out of the question.

If he's available, we wont be the only suitor.
If Leeds, Leicester or Southampton are interested then we know the outcome.
(The same reason he opted for Burnley instead of us last year)

But then he/agent never called leeds/southampton/leicester to ask us to reconsider him again as the player wished he had joined us and had made an error.

But they called our Club.
