Why do people keep saying this? They have a new owner and just sold their key striker for 20m.
Acun says 3 more signings maybe 4. On English talent says he hopes to keep his promise (it's a loan signing)
Because they've already bought another five players for a combined total of £17m. Where is their income coming from to pay the wages of footballers on that level? I can understand a club like Leicester or Soton paying that given where they came from, but Coventry are just going to end up back in trouble again. They don't strike me as any better than us in terms of personnel and while they overachieved last season, they were heavily reliant on Hamer and Gyokeres. I didn't think they looked anything like good enough to go up when we played them.
But, I suppose I could say the same about Luton.
The club should be sinking their money on a midfield general... end of...!!.. not a puff of wind... FFS he must be out there somewhere..

I like the guy, but he isn't a winger. If we aren't going to play him through the middle, I think I would seriously consider offers.
Greaves didnt do himself any harm today either. Did anyone else see the Daily Mail today. He was one of the 5 highlighted as being the big young guns in the Championship 'wand of a left foot' can play CB LB etc...
