In the earlier Tetteh discussion, it was mentioned he’d miss matches due to African Nations.
Who else are we likely to lose? When’s it take place?

Ironically, despite us probably not looking there, it’s quite common for goalkeepers from the continent to be good with their feet. You look at the likes of Ederson, Alisson Becker, Onana, Kaminski at Blackburn, they’re all decent with their passing and decision making. De Gea, while randomly **** then world class, could pick a pass from anywhere. Ditto Buffon.

British goalkeepers don’t develop in that same way, or at least haven’t for the last 20 odd years. I think steps have been taken to try and rectify this, at least at City, and the young lads we have now will definitely benefit from this.
De Gea could pick a pass from anywhere? The reason they got rid is because he can’t pass!

He played five games, mate.

he did play better than Malcolm ever did in them 5 games though. Not sure if it was attitude related why he was out for so long and if it was you’d think stay well clear. If it was an injury that he’s now over then he definitely improves us and gives us something different

If LR sees potential there, then I am all for it. The guy wants to come here, he clearly wants to get his career back on the rails. Yes, there seems to be issues upstairs...but there is a very good footballer in there trying to get out...let's see how it pans out.

Can I just ask, has anything actually happened in the 17 pages since yesterday morning?

I've only had half an eye on this but...

Aaron Connolly drove 500 miles this morning, with his air conditioning on full blast - could have gone by train or flown but chose to increase global warming instead - arrived at Anlaby Road dressed as Ali G, then him and Liam went to Minerva to discuss deep state conspiracies and whether Just Stop Oil want to stop it now or merely in a bit.

He's got an injured ankle or knee, and should be fit for Norwich.

I'm possibly conflating one or two different posts but that's a rough summation of today.

He has literally just burned down a Greek island.

I still think we have a chance with Twine. We were 100% definitely in discussions with Burnley AND him a few weeks ago. Not sure what has happened since but I can still see him moving to us.
Apparently Kompany wanted to look at him during pre-season, rather than let him out straight away.

That doesn't in any way affect the fact that Rosenior did get a tune out of him, so we really shouldn't be questioning whether he possibly can and trying to turn that into yet another manufactured negative.
