The other similarity there is that kids when they've opened a present don't really care about it and just want to open the next one...

Depends entirely what the detail is. We know very little about it. Could be that he's a wayward ****, or it could be that he's dealing with something tragic, or anywhere in between. People should avoid leaping to assumptions.

Does anyone have any insight on why Cox wasn't offered a deal? Thought he was average at Grimsby but much improved against Barnsley and overall, looked like he'd be a good option for us.

Whatever it is, do we want it to be our problem...as unsympathetic as that may sound.

It seems its only us interested in him, and he seems desperate to come to us...probably zero other options. I would not be bothered if we looked at other options.

Me neither, but if the people with all the information want him here then I'm absolutely on board with that.

I’m assuming 3 left backs is one too many, a wage that could be better spent elsewhere.
Had we shifted Fleming, then he may have signed.

Never understood giving him the contract extension. You'd think it would be pretty straight forward to get him a loan deal somewhere but his time at Oxford won't have done him any favours.

I think top 10 or he's out. As you say it's the big Turk who pays the wages decision.

If its as dire as this board is predicting then he'll probably be gone by Xmas, but it won't be.
