We do need a bit of bulk, but at the top end we're talking about having:

Oscar, Tetteh, Delap, Connelly, Traore, Tufan, New Number 10 (Twine?), Lokilo, New Winger (Philogene?), Allahyar, Vaughan, Longman.

That's ignoring Sinik, Jarvis and Covil who I don't see getting significant game time. It's still 12 players for 4 spots on the pitch. Depth is one thing but that seems excessive. So I'd definitely expect a few to go if we get all these players in. Maybe add Longman to the list of possible outs.

Combination of championship schedule, injuries and the new sub rules means its probably about right. Especially when 2 of those mentioned have a bit of an injury history

Jarvis has fired himself up the pecking order

Baz saying Allahyar is gathering interest as well as Oscar and Greaves. If we’re to get rid of any of our forward players who have any value, he’d be the first to go for me
Yep, confidence has shattered. Still think he’s best in the number 9 but he sees himself out wide which on present evidence he certainly is not

I think Allahyar does have the ability. Suffering the same fate as most of our wingers at the moment, constantly given too much to do, I think he is better on the left also.

“Allahyar doesn’t have the ability”.

Yeah. Yeah he does. He spent last season injured a lot, then had to come in and learn an entirely new way of playing. His assist in the Galatasaray game was brilliant and he has the pace and energy we keep saying we lack.

He’s on a long contract, any bids will have to be very large.

Well, they've actually played at Championship level. Seems a bit mental to ignore that significant difference.
And they’ve stuck out like sore thumbs for not being good enough.

Premise of Jarvis not being good enough to feature without him playing, despite being arguably our most impressive winger in pre season, seems more mental.

And a bigger question, is Allahyar actually a winger... or was he shoe horned into that position when we had a space to fill..
