Keeper - fine
No. 10 as no. 1 target - why?
Does that mean there's big doubts around Traore? And where does Tufan fit in? Maybe he moves back alongside Seri?
Still no idea how Rosenior is going to set up in 2 weeks time. I guess we won't get a clue until we play Nantes.
Still think he's wrong in not bringing in a 'presence' in CM. TWT.

Simmons will be the 'presence' in midfield this season. He's as good as anyone out there at the moment. The lad looks as though he's spent the summer in the gym and I'm prediciting that he will be a major player this season for us.

Not exactly, however if you have had a player on loan for a year his contract has gone down by a year and is closer to running out so therefore the price should reflect that.

I did, didnt read anything on what happend in his childhood to make him want to paint his fingernails.

also dont believe his story knowing his style might be another attempt to get attention
 
I know you never have everyone available, but if we get another winger, a number 10 and Connelly, then we're going to be absolutely stacked in attacking positions, and it would surely mean some outgoings to offset it. Presumably Oscar, maybe Allahyar and Tufan?

If the number 10 has been their number 1 target I can only assume they think they need to create more. Which I agree with, amount of teams that would come to the MKM and plonk 11 behind the ball and we couldn't do anything leads me to believe we need a bit more creativity

I counted the other day the squad is at about 24 right now with some youth options like Jarvis and Vaughan not needing to be registered. Additional bench spots and AFCON being this year maybe the squad needs a bit of bulk

We also need depth as there's nothing to suggest our multi-season injury crisis won't re-occur.

He’s probably not had much of a summer off given he went to the U20 WC in Argentina too. I do hope he hits the ground running early doors as he’ll be very important in the midfield once Seri and Adama go to AFCON.

Totally agree with this. He looks well up for the challenge. For me the only cloud on the horizon is who leaves. But at the moment i think its looking good for a top half season

If we lose Greaves, we need another centre half (need 4 in total) and possibly another left back.
If we lose Oscar, we need another 9 to score goals, I don't see either Tetteh or Connolly doing that, so we are relying on Delap.
Risky.

We wont be selling either and not bringing in a replacement.

We do need a bit of bulk, but at the top end we're talking about having:

Oscar, Tetteh, Delap, Connelly, Traore, Tufan, New Number 10 (Twine?), Lokilo, New Winger (Philogene?), Allahyar, Vaughan, Longman.

That's ignoring Sinik, Jarvis and Covil who I don't see getting significant game time. It's still 12 players for 4 spots on the pitch. Depth is one thing but that seems excessive. So I'd definitely expect a few to go if we get all these players in. Maybe add Longman to the list of possible outs.
