very true the media team only came back from Turkey a few days ago probably that is the delay of the announcement
That's what I assumed. I suspect they'd be given time off as well especially with the game tomorrow
He had his medical in England and they always said he wouldn't be joining up with the squad until they got back and they were only back training today

And Baz clearly expected an announcement ahead of Grimsby. So lts fair enough to wonder why it hasn't happened if that's what he's been told.
Probably, but it's not particularly surprising. Seems to happen with the majority of our signings. There's a threshold where we're clearly almost definitely signing them, and then the point when they actually do sign can be several days or even weeks later.
I remember reading about when Roy Hattersley was interviewed by the selection committee for the Wolverhampton constituency he had applied to be an MP for he was asked what his attitude to race relations was as the constituency had a diverse make up. He replied “When it comes to race relations I call a spade a spade.”
I'm getting bad vibes about Vinagre strokes. He apparently had a medical nine days ago and still no announcement. The new season is approaching quickly and still no left back in place. So much for getting business done early. I predict a mid table finish at best.
Say what you want, it is extremely odd to have a medical and then not be announced. I'm not saying there is anything wrong, but how these things happen is same day/day before of announcement.
No one is going to be shocked when it's revealed he sustained a "freak" injury at his first session at the Cottingham training ground.
Or maybe he didn't have a medical the Thursday before last as was claimed on here, just like loads of other stuff posted it was nowt more than wrong speculation.
