What?? Acun said that?? What a LIAR!!
First off, we don't yet know who he was referring to.
Second, big difference between talking things up (heaven forbid anyone does that for our club) and your posted accusations that Tan was making stuff up to "justify the signing" (of Vinagre)
Yes, my reply to you was "inflammatory", and that was because yours was also inflammatory, unnecessary, negative undermining bollocks.

You're right, I'm expecting Phil Foden to walk through the doors next week.

Hey? I said Tan was spinning things about Vinagre, someone who had an injury at the end of his spell with Everton, by claiming he was left out for 'tactics'. You accusing me of calling him a liar is just rubbish. My comment was in response to someone who was using the quote as some sort of 'proof' that those of us expressing concern about his fitness was unfounded.

Move on.

On my way to the mull of kintyre for a week..no mobile signal..so in 7 days time I look forward to reading about our quality signings.

Good signing that considering they just sold a player for 24 million and replaced him a 3rd of the price. He could equally be worth 10/20 million in a couple of years.

Interesting quote from Tan in the HDM on Vinagre

"He's someone that fits into our playing style. He had been in top teams in the past but with limited availability, not because of injury, but because of tactical decisions. We think he has great potential and will help us this season a lot."

Certainly appears that the overreaction on here about his injury record was completely OTT
Overreaction? On here?

Really don't understand the insinuation that Kesler/City would know a player was an injury waiting to happen, but not care and be happy to sign him, as long as they can convince us fans it isn't the case.

You know the club are on our side right?

I really don't know how you get that from my post. I have no doubt the club will back themselves to get him fit and past any issues he had, and see it as a good way to get a player on the cheap, but I have no doubt after LR's comments we'd only target more robust players, Tan felt the need to emphasise that he didn't have any injury issues, whether his comment is accurate or not. The club's management have long loved to embellish on the qualities of the players we have or are bringing in (as someone else referenced Acun's bigging up of whoever this English wunderkid is). My point was merely that just because Tan claims he wasn't playing for Everton for tactical reasons doesn't make it true, as much as SS wants it to be.
