We had enough central midfielders to field an entire starting 11 made up purely of central midfielders. Meanwhile we had no proper left back, no wingers, and a totally unbalanced and lightweight central midfield no matter which of the 11 of them you picked.

It was poor.

An ex colleague of mine, Swansea season ticket holder, emailed me the following:

'Who knows what will happen next season and the owners usually sell so watch out for Grimes and Piroe. Manning was out of contract and will go where the money is.'

No club gets every window a 100% success rate. If you think we were profligate then perhaps you should take a look at other clubs budgets vs form.

We finished the season on par under the new coach. That's neither extraordinarily good or extraordinary bad. Disastrous is a massive overstatement IMHO, but of course there's always room for improvement at every club.

If Sinik is back in for training on a long term basis with us, then City would sorted out a decent residential acommodation solution for him, If he is back in the Hilton Hotel again, this looks like a short term visit and then a probable loan / sale to a Turkish side?
