Any idea what he meant with the Roma thing? I couldn’t make sense of it

Both owners will meet to make the agreement formal, and both clubs are looking at each others players?

I can’t believe we’re willing to sign a 3rd-choice left-sided centre-half but not someone like Bielik for £1 million. Like buying a third parka in summer when you don’t own any shorts or T-shirts.

Interest in Longman is a surprising one
Depends on the definition of interest..
Acun maybe thought he could splash a few quid on some decent larkers from Turkey..... he’s had to have a rethink and take a rather longer term view.
If the early signs are anything to go by the 'where will we finish' thread is going to be interesting.

A one place improvement, it's not like you to be so positive..... everything ok?

I don’t know what the snarky attitude is for. It’s my honest opinion of where we’re at. Stoke have been lingering between 16th-14th ever since they were relegated from the Prem in 2018 and I can see us doing the same a for a few years.

Liams record with the current squad minus most of his injured forwards is 38 points from 28 games.

No squad improvement following the window and without injury returnees should put us on around 63 points. That would be 11th or 12th over 46 games based on this last seasons standings and our own form, so why are you expecting us to go backwards from where we are now?

The division is arguably stronger for the 23/24 season. 14th seems a realistic prediction.

You can argue that every year but the fact is we should be stronger not weaker and the rank n file of the championship will be a similar standard to last year..

Im optimistic we'll make progress.

Are we signing Bradley cos Derby think they are? And Kessler seemed to dampen speculation when asked in his interview earlier.

The early signs are virtually non existent.

If we're after players who are also fielding interest from other clubs then they rarely make decisions on futures whilst they're still on holiday.

If we are only signing 4 or 5 then they have to be the right ones, not quick ones.

Besides, pre season is still a couple of weeks away, so who's to say we won't have someone in by then?

It’s one of those he just spent a full season there and he’d likely be Brum’s marquee signing of the summer we need someone in that mould but I feel we need wide areas strengthening first. £1m is probably Brum’s entire budget

Tan is speaking of 4 or 5 signings. We know a GK, LB, Striker, Wide player and a 10 are the positions which are the priorities.

Defensive record under Rosy suggests a holding player would come after those in the priority list. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see one come in, but I think it will depend on who leaves first.

A **** haha, It's ok you flip flop that much anyway, you'll have us finishing top tomorrow.

So you decide to double-down and act like even more of a ****. Have I wronged you in some way by saying I think we’ll finish 14th?
