I’ve heard it’s some dodgy deal to get him on loan at Barcelona. If he ends up back in Spain on loan, there’s going to be a few teams asking questions.Messi going to MLS....Yawn...Inter Miami apparently. Is that why Phil Neville got the bums rush?
I don’t know how important Shearer’s record is to Kane but surely he’d rather win trophies than focusing on Shearer’s record?
There was a debate on Twitter recently about who has had the better career so far: Kane or Vardy. Most would probably say Kane because he has more often than not scored 20+ goals a season for nearly a decade now and is England captain. However, Vardy has a PL title and FA Cup with Leicester.
Even if Kane beats Shearer’s record, in 10 years from now he could see someone else like Haaland beat it. Nobody can take away Vardy’s trophies though.
Does anyone think Rooney is sat at home wishing he could trade all those trophies with Man Utd for beating Shearer’s record? I don’t think so.
I don’t think levy will sell to another prem team though

So Connolly is no longer a target?

I think the wording I saw "not at this stage" maybe means Brighton is playing hardball and that if their expectations drop maybe something can be agreed later on.
I guess time will tell.
oddly enough, in an interview Simon said he thought it was Warrington. TBH..I think we've done this to death. I feel like a Boxer taking a few blows.I heard it was Preston station ? I am trying to keep the forums customers satisfied of course .
Although, apparently he never got a firm offer from them. If he had gone to Barca, the deal was that other players would have to take a pay cut, and several backroom staff would be 'let go'. He didn't want that, so didn't pursue it. A mark of the guy, I guess you can say.I’ve heard it’s some dodgy deal to get him on loan at Barcelona.
Or he could have gone there, taken a pay cut, after all he hardly needs the money now, and then no one would need to take a pay cut or be let go. If he wanted to go back so badly he’d surely compromise?Although, apparently he never got a firm offer from them. He was willing to take a pay cut, but Spanish regulations means a player can't just play for free, or even 50^ of his previous contract. Barcelona have yet to register many first team players for next season, which gives you an idea of how bad their current financial situation is. They will be registered due to sales and salary cuts, but Messi needed guarantees he'd be registered and they weren't able to give him them.Or he could have gone there, taken a pay cut, after all he hardly needs the money now, and then no one would need to take a pay cut or be let go.
