i don't think luton could
as i think the issue is related to the media facitilies, and premier league teams are required to have specific facilities for all the media premier league games have, not sure the exact specifics
at least that's what i read

but i feel like 10m is pittance in the long scheme

much better to have home games at their ground than use something like the soulless mk dons arena

I wouldn't be surprised if the quoted £10m is for more than just the essential media bits. Just seems like this situation comes up every so often with different clubs and it's always a dramatic thing that in the end turns out to be not a big deal at all.

They have significantly increased the price of their advertising/sponsorship across the board. After recent chats to their commercial team following our sponsorship deal, they want businesses to pay for the reduced prices for the general fans. It is a clever way of doing it. Cheaper tickets = bigger crowds = more exposure to sponsors = increased sponsorship prices due to the increased exposure.

Would be nice wouldn’t it? We’ve had two Bernard’s during my supportership, like having a ginger haired midfielder, having a Bernard in the squad just feels right.
I think I'll pass on Bernardo Gui - wouldn't be into team morale building, more concerned with team morals

Lucas Joao anyone?

Do we need a big striker? I thought we'd sign Connolly or a similar type and concentrate mainly on the wide options and no.10. I thought Tufan did fantastic on the whole as a striker, plus we've got Oscar and Tetteh so we've got 3 who all offer something different.

Think Joao works well as a second striker so would (in my mind) be a pretty good upgrade on a Connolly type, and seems a bit fitter anyway.

I don't really understand this Connolly and lack of robustness thing. Players being robust doesn't mean they'll never get injured, injuries happen. Connolly played 18 times for Boro last season after signing in Jan so he's clearly not made of glass.
