it's like saying
who cares if the club goes backrupt and get liquidated
it's not your bank account and assets gone

just the club you love

Next time he's ranting that we're **** then we know what to say lol!

'you didn't blaze over 2 sitters and concede 3 og' s so why do you care...? '

The point about his attitude surely is that he has previous, he admitted exactly that point in his joining interview, and if it has recurred then is Rosie actually capable of managing it, I'm not convinced so a loan would be best all round at the most.

Pay by play a better deal for us. Why pay a wage for a person who does not put in the effort. Ben Arfa a prime example

He’s played 5 times in a half-season loan. I’d take him on another loan for a full-season but that’s about it.

Loan until January to prove his fitness. If he fails, no contract. If he does well, sign him up on a cheaper fee. Can't see an issue with that, provided there's cover for if he doesn't stay fit.

What do you mean out of touch? It would be out of touch for me to say it would be easy to find one who can score 20 a season. Me saying finding a striker who runs the channels and presses is? Bollocks. We have someone else at the club who can play the striker role how Connolly does.

Allahyar didn't play a single game up front all season. I think we need to let go of the idea that he's a striker, Rosenior clearly doesn't see it that way.

In the last decade, we've only really had Frazier Campbell and briefly Shane Long who have played in the way you're describing. They're really not ten a penny.

Shows a complete lack of respect to go to an awards ceremony dressed like that IMO. Like the odd tramp that will turn up to a wedding reception in a tracksuit.

I would have told him to go home and change if I was the manager.
Had a similar discussion with my mate the other day about a Hull FC player who currently has the most embarrassing mullet hairstyle you can imagine. I told him none of the head coaches I worked under would have him in the sqaud looking like that. When you're trying to build a strong team mentality no single player should be carrying on like a clown trying to be the centre of attention.

I'm sure there will be plenty of people on here who also adhere to the white (or coloured) boots rule. You earn the right to wear footwear like that and I would suggest Connoly is currently at the stage of his career where he should be greatful he is still getting paid given his contribution to any of the clubs he has played for!

So he has been paid over £300k and played 5 times. For £60k a game he is not worth it based on his history

He played six games in four months, Traore played twelve games in nine months, maybe we should get rid?

If Rosie thinks there’s an issue, he won’t sign him, if he does want to sign him, it’s because he just thinks he’s been unlucky with an injury.

I really don’t give a **** about what footballers wear or what hairstyles they have. I don’t even mind how they accessorise during matches so long as it doesn’t impact how they play. If they want to wear bright coloured boots, have low socks or socks pulled over the knees, wrist tape, headbands etc. I really don’t give a ****. Tufan can wear short sleeves and gloves all he wants, even if it looks a bit daft. I know some would like to go back to the days of black boots and shirts tucked into shorts but it’s not the military where any form of individual expression is discouraged or forbidden.

Also, have you seen some of the barnets footballers had in the 70s and 80s? Don’t tell me daft haircuts are a new thing by this current generation of footballers.

Hernandez did a lot of off the ball work once he dropped his daft dreadlocks (and we got relegated) and had pace and strength.

Gedo, although he only really used it once to score a goal, actually had a bit of acceleration and strength.

Fryatt didn't really have pace, but technically he was superb, time after time he would be sent through vs a defence, skin them and score. I don't know how he did it, he never looked very gainly when running, but his goal against Man U when he brushed off Carrick was Premier League quality and I think it was vs Bristol City (or maybe Ipswich) when he got the ball, two defenders between him and the goal, turned both of them inside out and just placed it neatly into the corner. He cost £1m. He wouldn't cost that if he was playing now. I'd go as far to say that after Hernandez, he was the best striker we've had since our first promotion.

'Cos that never happened in the old days... <laugh>
