Thats what concerns me about prospect of having Connolly back. Rosenior thinks he can 'mentor' him. Why bother, just sign someone as good (or better) without issues. As Jellyfish posts, another loan at most imo.
Perhaps he feels that if he can get him in the right frame of mind, he’ll be better than anyone we could otherwise afford?

If Connolly still needs an arm around his shoulder at 23 god help him and Rosenior shouldn't have to be the one to do that. IMO Rosenior needs professionals who have bought into the project and believe in themselves. Not ones with pet lips or bad attitude. Seems we had two of those last season. Homework not done...!!!

Why are we talking so much about Connelly having a bad attitude? There's been no suggestion he's been anything less than professional in his time here, he's just had an injury.

Probably because he’s had a bad attitude his entire career. The injury is unfortunate and his attitude hasn’t been a problem here as far as I know but I think we should move on to better targets.

I think people are a bit unrealistic about how easy it is to sign players. People are saying "just sign someone better" as if it's that easy but realistically a lot of transfers don't work out so there is some value in a player who you already know fits in and gives you what you want. The medical team will know whether there's any issue with his robustness and I'm sure we won't sign him if there is. Likewise if he was any sort of disruptive presence.

No one’s saying it’s easier, just seems a bit rash to spend on a player we’ve seen 5 times who only scored in one. We talk about what he brings as a forward, they’re fundamentals that all strikers should do. We aren’t talking about high quality skills, they’re what all strikers should do. He has a proven record of falling out of favour for attitude issues, it wouldn’t be hard to find a striker who runs the channels and presses. Allahyar played that role very well at the end of last season

why anyone would choose norwich over hull is baffling

The decision at hand has elicited a staggering and unprecedented level of incredulity, shattering the very foundations of conventional wisdom and confounding even the most astute and erudite observers. Its profound departure from rationality and discernible logic renders it an awe-inspiring testament to the intricacies and complexities of human thought and decision-making processes
I was thinking the exact same thing…

That's just a bafflingly out of touch thing to say. Like it's based on FIFA rather than real life or something. Have you seen our success rate buying strikers?

I take it you didn’t see what he turned up to the awards evening wearing?
