I wonder what odds on a loan signing of KLP next year.....if we're happy to chuck 20-30k on larkers like Pelkas we may have a change on a similar offering for him, you'd certainly know what you're getting for your money with him too, been a complete and utter waste of a season for him this year, think we all saw it coming but sadly his agent and people around him got in his ear.
He really, really doesn't want to come back, even though Brentford are happy with a loan to us.

Then Jones goes under the radar and he's been our most consistent player. People focus on dropping Greaves for Macca as the main reason for our defensive improvement but it wasn't, it was Jones for Figueredo.

Agree completely. The difference between Greaves and Macca isn’t huge and both are great. The big difference is Jones coming in for Figueiredo and also a coach like Rosenior who can communicate his playing style clearly to the players.

A penny for you thoughts. An imaginary team has money to spend. Nothing outrageous, maybe similar to us. They have a team in the championship and are looking for top six next season. Their scout has watched us and is reporting back to their waiting owners. Who do think we have that they might see as a top six player . This helps eliminate our own loyalty and might help us see the team as the owners do. I know we are told six players are coming in. But that means we already have five. Remember darlow and Connolly aren't our players. I can come up with five . Doesn't leave us with a competitive squad and i have to admit i don't really think we can get there in one window

Point is, all that money should have been building something, not spunked.
(Add Sinik to those names. Frightening).

Yet some would advocate yet another change in philosophy, mamger and yet more money inevitably spunked.

We've got a base to build from.

Decent recruitment would get in and around the playoff mix.

Roll on next season. More reasons to look up not down.

According to Liam city are exercising the extra year for the Doc, in his after match interview.
But if doc wants a longer contract or he’s off is another matter….

HT2 has confirmed suspicions that we've triggered his year to avoid him leaving for free.

He's probably played his last game for us.

A.Jones and SMac, although I'd prefer to see one along side an experienced head (like Chester and Davies)
Traore keeps showing promise, I expect good things from him next season.
Similarly with Oscar and Tetteh. Oscar showed he knows where the onion bag is earlier in the season before blowing cold, Tetteh is probably more suited to how Rosie wants us to play though.

Good question, I don't think there are many...

so nearly our full starting 11 yet we finished 15th… the orignal list rings true imo.

Yet it was an injury decimated squad with 3 different managers and would have finished joint 11th on form under the current manager I'd he been In charge all season.

He's fought the fires and turned around the relegation form.

Now his challenge is to perform top 6 with a top 10 budget.

And that in itself is a significant ask.

joint 11th not convinced me much. Will see what happens just my personal opinion that the players state aren’t out an out top 6 players and for us to really make a push we need to upgrade. Game of opinions though and I hope I’m wrong.

It's a fair opinion. But it's small margins over a season from where we are now to top 6.
