Not sure if it's true or not, but if acun felt it was better value for him financially to get the club at a cheaper price upfront but potentially lose something down the line ( that actually doesn't cost him anything out his own pocket and he / the club never actually had in its bank etc ) then that's up to him and the allams. It wouldn't be the first time in business nor would it be the last.
Plus it's no real difference to an actual sell on clause anyway some could argue.....it's just another part of a deal, just this time it's part of a deal for a club and not a player

It could go to them, but it’ll still class as income into the club surely so would allow us to spend more no?

Was having a look the other day at the company he's keeping in terms of league appearances. Seems sort of mind-bending that he's made a similar or more number of starts than Rosenior, Livermore, Meyler, Huddlestone etc. Of course they've made more total league appearances when subs are factored in, and I wish TigerBase (as brilliant as it already is) had a 'Total' column which added up starts + subs.
Slater is the only player in our squad to have appeared in every game this season.

Nigel Adkins has been appointed Technical Director at Tranmere Rovers, after all the sackings this season, it’s a surprise he hasn’t got another Manager gig.

There’s a pattern of managers taking non-manager roles then getting the manager’s job further down the line.

Chazz he's been one of our best performers as decided by both the players and the supporters, can we drop this claim that he's not very good?
I can’t see the Bowen thing being true, there is no longer an avenue for ehab to receive money from the club or connected companies without losing a **** load of it to tax, just wouldn’t make sense from anyone’s point of view. It’s a lose-lose situation.
They got the add-on when he got an England appearance so I could see it being true.
