I’m with Chazz on this one.Chazz he's been one of our best performers as decided by both the players and the supporters, can we drop this claim that he's not very good?

There would be no place for him In The starting 11 if we had the midfield enforcer that fans crave.
I’m sure Chazz will retract his comment when he’s seen you’ve agreed with him.I’m with Chazz on this one.

No one plays that role in the team because we don’t have one. That's a strange comment considering he doesn't currently play that role in the team.
He’s from around that area isn’t he?
There’s a pattern of managers taking non-manager roles then getting the manager’s job further down the line.

If we did have one, someone would have to make way. It wouldn’t be Seri or Traore
Not at all. There is no clambering from other clubs to sign Slater. There’s a reason for that. Happy for him to warm our bench thoughStill this idea of needing a squad proving hard for some to grasp I see.

Managers favourite... I suspect he'll be on of the first on the team sheet , deserved out not..Can’t see Slater being a key player next season, he’s had a very good year this year, the first question is can he carry on the form and improvement into next year. The second question is would he actually have a place in a first 11 with a properly rounded and balanced squad?
He’s an all round player, alright at everything but doesn’t really have any particular standout quality. Also, for the kind of busy body all rounder he is, he does still go quiet and missing too much. Take for instance a David Meyler or George Honeyman who you could count on giving a solid 7/10 performance 90-95% of the time, Slater would IMO be more 60-65%.
That’s not to say he won’t still play a big part for us but I just don’t see him being one of the first names on the team sheet and will become more of a depth option than first choice.
Out of the players heavily linked in January, how many can you see us going back in for?
Toffolo, Curtis Davies (as experienced back up), Conrad De La Fuente, Ryan Fraser, Max Bird? Any others that I have forgotten about that are realistic?
