Pah, stats aren't for me, and as ever I'm content to be the exception to the rule.
I agree mate I've no interest in stats. I may be unique in this but also don't care much for formations or tactics.
For me football is almost all about emotions the excitement of a surge into the oppositions half the trepidation of them in ours. For me it's about those emotions. The mechanics are just bla bla bla.

They've just got big money from Ajax for Mikautadze so we could fleece them. If they paid £1.5m for Benjis 1 goal we could get 19.5m for Oscar

Better supported, larger stadium, good owners more history, despite starting 34 years after us in the league. Some of the comments from our fans about other clubs are ludicrous. Every Ipswich fan I have come across down the years have been good types.

I have nothing against them in general, but their long unbeaten run last season (in League One) has gone to their heads somewhat and even in preseason many of their fans were all over social media as if they’d be Champions by Christmas and any player would immediately want to sign for them ahead of any other club etc.

I would say they are a more attractive proposition for a lot of players than we are.
Maybe a lot of players we have been after have had a look on here and have been worried their xGs, pass completions, yardage etc might not measure up to standards deemed necessary. Not to mention their height.

I think acun and LR are misjudging the feeling of most fans, Acun ( in my opinion) needs to stop surrounding himself with fans who'll smile and nod at everything he says and does and not be honest, all because they get nice freebies
They've got a top young manager and owners backed by a US pension fund, they're definitely a club on the up.
