He'll have a job on displacing them, but he's under contract so I suppose he's entitled to it. Did he do well for Estoril?

I didn't think he'd choose us over Leicester or Southampton anyway.

He did very well at Estoril and just signed a new deal about 2 weeks ago.
 
I think it's a good opportunity to bring in a good young talent for a relatively good price. Seri is knocking on also.
 
When it was reported that we had two bids in for players, one for Bird, was the other one supposed to be a permanent or could it be the loan offer?

Liam said that it's close to being done, as it stands, that wouldn't be Bird, though I could be wrong because Bristol's offer might not have gone in when he said that.

Not seen anyone mention it anywhere but the Woods one is odd isn't it? Played all of pre-season then suddenly he's publicly available for sale, no squad number and not even involved in the League Cup when we're chronically short of options to rotate in that position. Obviously he was never first choice or anything, but it still seems quite sudden that he's so far out of the picture. If it's indeed the case that some player(s) have had some sort of fall out, Woods would be my guess.

Falls under the description of experienced players speaking out…

Albeit he did execute how Rosenior wants us to set up on the whole probably better than Seri in pre season bar Scunny

I've been thinking down those same lines since it was announced. It seems pretty shoddy treatment of a player who has had a decent pre season. Wasn't Woods once the captain at Birmingham before he joined us?
