The wording “winger” makes me think it isn’t Twine but could be.

maybe we are awaiting the outgoings to start working on the more difficult perm deals?

Needs to be sorted sooner rather than later then. If we're selling Greaves and Óscar we shouldn't leave it too long or we'll end up panic-buying **** replacements like when Bowen and Grosicki left.

I'm beginning to wonder what the heck a 'winger' is these days, given all the names (current players and potential signings) who are being described as wingers!

the winger was a separate deal, the one who could be Twine is just described as a ‘former target’ and ‘attack minded youngster’

Just received this message from a previous good source
"Vingre is a loan deal, but city want reassurance that if his Achilles goes, they can send him back"
also The leaked Kit is genuine

Wondered if that might be the hold up, which I'm glad about. But according to plenty on here we shouldn't care because everyone gets injured and it's just dumb bickering to be concerned!

We really do need a 'laughing face' button (not us personally, but the message board).

Yeah one of the best things about another forum I post on is the range of reacts you can give - thumbs up, down, laugh, sad - makes it a lot easier/less cluttered reacting to posts.

Slater, Meyler, James Harper, Dean Marney are all good examples of a modern day winger.

Agreed. Go back a bit further and the likes of Gregg Abbott would be an early proto.

Brabin was ahead of his time too - taking the piss really.
