Agreed. Go back a bit further and the likes of Gregg Abbott would be an early proto. Brabin was ahead of his time too - taking the piss really.
I'd love us to be in a position though where we aren't signing a **** load of players every summer though. I can't remember the last summer where we weren't signing 8 or more
