I don’t hate Hull. You keep saying that. Would like to see it better. Which it could be if the right decisions were made.

Yes. Just imagine someone responding to posts on a forum. Though some would like an echo chamber where they post something and everyone just agrees.

Duly amended. Though anyone with an IQ which could be reached with a single dart could fathom out what I intended to write. Which would rule some on here out…

Looks like my dart hit the wire, of single one, and bounced to the floor. Bonus point for anyone on here who knows where Kottingham Avenue is in Hull. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

Decent player. Would’ve liked him to come here this summer. Fast, direct winger. I’m not sure he’s good enough for the Prem though. He deserves a move up to one of the Championship teams pushing for promotion though, at least.

Whenever I’ve heard any transfer rumours regarding Luton this summer, they’ve all seemed underwhelming. Lewis Travis, Ben Pearson, Chiedozie Ogbene etc. would be good signings for a top 6 Championship side but Premier League? Not so sure.

My Dad lived opposite. Just before they where pulling it down Me and my brother played in the empty houses. Dad said there was 30 houses in the square at one time. Remember the steps leading up to the houses and the railings. Would make an amazing place now. They didn’t know what they where pulling down.

Can't speak for Ipswich but my Mrs is from Downham Market so I safely can say most of Norfolk is utter dross and if her family weren't there we'd never visit. Did have some family holiday trips to Blakeney that I fondly remembered but went back there recently and have no idea what the appeal was.

Terribly boring drive there as well.

It's a high-risk signing and the exact type we should be avoiding. He's 26 and this is the first good season he's had and if we'd have signed him 12 months ago, you'd have moaned like hell. This could be his breakout year and he might push on but on the balance of probabilities, it's way more likely that he's an alright player who's had a very good season. This happens all the time and most players have a standout season in their career. He upped his goal contributions by 50% in a much harder league despite playing fewer minutes and for a side that's relatively much weaker (league position).

Because he's on a Bosman, he gets lots of interest so the only way you end up with him is if you pay more than anybody else, probably 4x what you'd have had to pay him last summer. If we didn't want him last summer for a much lower cost (even including a fee), I don't see why we'd want him this summer if we're taking a reasonable approach

Eaves was alright but it was just sloppy recruiting. At Gillingham, he played in a front 2 alongside a big lump. How many times did he play alongside a big target man for us? Pretty much never. I'm not saying he'd have been a big success for us if he had done, but you've at least got to provide the conditions for him to succeed. He didn't have the attributes to be a lone striker yet that's all he really played for us.

I heard Luton chief exec on 5live, they are not spending big on players, £50m of the EPL money is being used for bringing their ground up to EPL standards and the balance is put towards their new stadium. They are certainly seeing this as a cash boost for one season, and hope with a few cheap additions and with most of the players from last season they can survive.

Apparently we are trying to get Maxi Gomez

Club America from Mexico are also in the race

Trabzonspor wants 5-6 million Euros, they paid 3 million Euros for him originally
