Transfer Rumours Summer '23 Transfer Thread

It's a no from me on de Bruyne. Not worth the risk signing another injured player.

Mbappe? Half season loan to see if he can handle the Championship maybe? Play him off the bench for the last 10 minutes in games where we are three or four ahead. See what he can offer. Fear he may be another Ebiowei though.
I'd give them both a second look!! If we can pull this off and send them to Shelbourne to bring about some improvement,we might be on a winner here:emoticon-0148-yes:

Hull City remain hopeful of concluding a deal to sign Karl Darlow from Newcastle United on a permanent deal this summer with talks contuing.

City boss Liam Rosenior has identified Darlow as his key summer target after the 32-year-old ex-Nottingham Forest stopper impressed during his loan spell in the second half of the season, where he played 12 times.

Talks with the Magpies continue and it's understood nothing has changed about Darlow's desire to join City, while the club remain patient over discussions.

Interest from elsewhere in Darlow is expected, with Championship rivals Middlesbrough the latest to be linked, but City are prepared for that given the quality of the Toon goalkeeper and his subsequent availability.

Bosses at City believe Darlow's relationship with Rosenior, and his willingness to move to the MKM Stadium will see them remain frontrunners for his signature.

That will be a test for them all right<laugh> Mind you, back in the day, Ronaldo's very first game after joining Real Madrid was a friendly against League of Ireland players in a modest stadium somewhere in Dublin. The entire Spanish media was there - journalists, TV stations. Needless to say, he didn't get a sniff at goal.

Sure it’s wasn’t John Moore

Baz pouring cold water on Can. Doesn’t align with anything else but Baz is king.

I would think Baz is right. He seems like another pelkas, not particularly pacey and traits that would be more suitable at CAM. Also Fenerbahçe fans seem pretty excited to get rid of him.

I really hope we find some exciting quick wingers, I would have liked us to take a punt on Konrad de la Fuente but that seems to have gone quiet.

I’d have taken a chance on Ryan Kent
