Back to players I haven’t heard of. Much more like it

I don’t know much about but I heard Man Utd were scouting him not too long ago and Sunderland are apparently also interested. 18 goal contributions.

If Greaves is on his way out, what we should do is sign someone to replace him who is every bit as good but costs a lot less. Bit disappointed no-one at City has thought of this already.

Has Greaves been sold? Sky falling down???

If its true, its more than likely figs replacement. Its a squad upgrade. I don't see the problem.

There’s another young African player who plays for Zulte Waregem as well that is very highly-rated. Can play left-back or holding midfield. Can’t remember his name though. Saw it on Twitter a while back.

If we sold Greaves the logical replacement would be Cashin from Derby i.e. sell a young player for millions and replace him with another young player for a fraction of what we sold Greaves for. That's what the well-run clubs like Brighton that Rosenior supposedly wants to emulate do. Selling a young player for millions and replacing him with a journeyman with injury problems on a free transfer is what poorly-run skint clubs like Preston do.

In an ideal world yes, but it's a weird one with Greaves, as I don't think he's our 1st choice LCB any more so he doesn't need replacing to the same extent. I'd rather we spend the money further up the pitch

By the way, this kid has better goal involvements than Zaroury and Benson during their last season in Belgium before joining Burnley. It’s a market we should definitely look into.

It's quite remarkable really.

Ozan looks like he's doing his best not to eye up the bride and if that's Liam on the end then credit for the close trim 'n blazer but he really should have worn some proper shoes and socks.

Taking fashion cues from Connolly maybe?

Or the new Kappa sock and shoe sizes being 15% tighter than they should be?

I'm sure OLM would have kitted him out properly.

Looks like the legwear has been on too hot a wash also. If anyone, surely Ali's new missus should be the one showing a bit of ankle, not the gaffer... :emoticon-0145-shake:emoticon-0145-shake:emoticon-0145-shake

Reading through the last few pages, there's a fair bit of Football Manager style recruitment being suggested. Sonny Bradley is supposedly a **** signing but we should go and take a punt on players from foreign leagues even though our record was hit and miss last summer.

I'm more than happy to see us sign 5/6 players who are solid, if unspectacular, but improve us, and signing players Rosey has worked with in the past seems like a no-brainer too.

Sonny will be a solid signing for us and provide good cover. He's got plenty of traits we lack, such as leadership, height, and physicality and you listen to Ingram's interview when he said the difference between us and Luton was leaders, so we bring one in and people still moan.
