Fairly sure i as the one that initially called Burnley a village, in a sarcastic way, to point out the fact the 'Welcome to Burnley' sign is in
open countryside miles away from any houses. Our boundary is ridiculously tight, much like Nottingham's, and should be vastly expanded. I've never really concerned myself with our attendances, because there's little I personally I can do to improve them.

Bigger city does not equal bigger club. Burnley, Norwich and Boro are bigger clubs in terms of history and therefore have a much larger pull. That doesn’t change that personal finances will be a stumbling block right now for some who want to go but can’t afford it.

How do they have a larger pull? When was the last time those 3 won anything? Boro have never won anything. Other two last won something decades ago. I don’t know why you are finding excuses for the apathy of too many in Hull.
We don’t have a club near to us whereas Burnley are surrounded by other clubs. They are closer to Leeds than we are. Don’t have the amount supporting TWS that we have in Hull. Or Liverpool or Man Utd which are closer to them than us. Burnley, a third the size of Hull is pulling in bigger crowds and is hardly a well off town.

You don’t say. The question is - why?

**** knows.

I am very pleased we've added 4,000 new members this season. I hope over subsequent seasons we add more.

I fell in love with City in the 90s and for a portion of that decade we struggled to get crowds of 4K never mind an extra 4K season tickets.

I'm hoping for a successful season and few more to come....perhaps that will attract even more fans.

Funny enough in some ways enjoyed games more than now, in the company of die hards who would support the team no matter what. Unfortunately a lot I knew then have passed on so it is impossible to recreate those days out.

A large percent of people just watch the telly in their spare time. On the telly are premier league clubs one of which they say they support. They even wear the shirt. If it came to going to watch live, they wouldn't be interested. We haven't the largest support, but they love their club and go to matches home and away. That'll do for me. It was great to see so many at qpr. Well done to acun.

100%, give me a crowd of people who want to be there over an extra 5,000 who are there to watch the opposition in the premier league

I we could get the crowds the little town of Ipswich are getting in League 1 I would be happy. Would have to get some extra seats fitted in the MKM though.

We only got to the top tier in 2008, with plenty of hard times in the last quarter of the last century. But this who has the better fans talk is always pointless. People will do whatever they want with their time and money. Football was most popular after WW2, and that's when attendances were the biggest. If anything football attendances are likely to decline with prices, streaming, and alternatives. And football players are definitely overpaid.

If you look at the sh1ty owners city have historically had, no wonder we haven't the best support. The good ones have always been followed by absolute robots who have no feeling or sense of love for anything. However this guy is genuine and he's here for a while (fingers crossed) there is a lot of young people discovering our great club and loving it too. Maybe very soon we will have an enviable support. If acun has his way, we will
