Do we know where we're at with Pelkas? Baz saying yesterday we plan on having him signed by the weekend suggests everything is agreed and we're just waiting on work permits etc... But Shotas interview today makes it sound less close and that Pelkas himself hasn't made his mind up yet.

Cant see him being signed and available for Sat.

Christie might be though.

I have very hazy memories of late night weekend showings of films such as Warriors, The Wanderers, Porkies, Scum and similar at the ABC in the early 80s.

A night on the pop. Then watch said movie for a couple of hours. Then Bun in the Oven before the walk home.

Unless I've drempt the whole thing.

I used to go to ABC Miners every Saturday morning, they would show shows like Black Bob, flash gordon, treasure island some cartoons cost 5p to get in and they used to take all empty jam jars to.

Coventry should be a 3 points formality tomorrow.

Tan and Acun’s inability to get these deals over the line will cost us in the current injury climate.
Your criticism of Tan and Acun's inability is a joke, right? If not, the sense of entitlement is quite staggering. The fact that we're anywhere near signing some of these players is amazing, given where we were 9 months ago.

Absolutely, given that we managed to convince Tufan, Sinik, Seri and Estupinan to sign amid massive interest from much bigger clubs suggests that getting deals over the line isn't an issue.

Christie has been on trial, we don't know if he's actually going to sign or not. The fact he left Birmingham's trial/training offer to come here suggests he could, but it's not nailed on.

He hasn't kicked a ball in anger since he played for Ireland vs Ukraine in June, he's not going to be match fit even if he does sign.

If pelkas doesnt go through we should have a backup of the same calibre such as feghouli or someone else…

hopefully we do but im a little worried since acun is still fairly new with transfers etc.. hopefully he didnt put all the eggs in one basket

What evidence do you have of him doing that? We've brought in plenty of high quality players some of whom wouldn't have been our first choice. Relax.

Where have you been all summer? That's exactly what we haven't done
