I think what really was poor for both players was the lack of respect and no gratitude for the fact the club stood by both players, Snodgrass who was out for a long time with his knee injury and Livermore and his drug issue. To both push for moves out really lacked class from both players.
Snodgrass made himself unavailable for Chelsea away. The club physio's could find nothing wrong with him.
He was great when he wanted to play but he's had more clubs then Arnold Palmer for a reason.

I think the suprise premier league 10 was delle ali

Pelkas in before Cov hopefully

All fingers crossed for this. Our general record against struggling, bottom of the table teams is... Well, we all know how it is.

Without bolstering the squad with some more quality before Saturday, what with the injuries at the moment, I could see us slipping up here. Might just be the pessimist in me, but the injuries situation at the moment leaves us with a squad barely any stronger than last season's in many respects. You could argue Tetteh and Oscar are a cut above, but would they even see anything of the ball?

Yeh, we are terrible against struggling teams. It's always so frustrating, we have usually tended to outwork more skilled teams and gain points, then it seems we travel to the bottom clubs and the aim is to all of a sudden play football and we end up getting out worked and beaten. Hopefully in the near future we have the quality to beat these teams regardless.

Are they particularly struggling or have they just had their home games postponed?

That's a fair point, but regardless, they're currently bottom and now it's our turn to face them. You'd like to think at home with a good turnout after losing 5-2 and hopefully with a point to prove we should have enough to take 3 points, even with the injuries... But...

Yeh thats true in the case of Coventry, I was just speaking in general terms about how we do against struggling teams.

It's not just us I don't think. Everyone can beat anyone in this division and there are no gimmies. Fans get expectant but probably shouldn't cos there's always chance of an upset - especially when clubs get over confident and expect to win. We did the same ourselves to a few good sides last season.

You'd hope we would be sharper than them having played more games.

I’m worried about the next few games. I think Coventry and QPR are both tough, especially with all the injuries and then Sheff U are arguably the best team in the league. A few bad results and our good start is wiped out.

I’m still very optimistic for the season though, just need some better luck with injuries

Even if pelkas is signed dont think he will be fit for cov game he hasnt played in a while

hopefully we can get 3 points but seems extremely difficult
