He’s 6ft so that would please some on here. I’ve never heard of him but got to question why Watford would rather play Kamara out of position at rwb than him

He can't have had a great time at Watford but at West Ham he was really highly rated.

He wasn't in their 18 at the weekend so they clearly don't want him yet he's still young and could be a very good signing for us. I hope it's permanent as he won't cost the earth

Just been reading Watford thoughts on him. Most don’t seem to rate him and describe him as a ‘fullback not a wingback’ hence why he’s not in the squad. Doesn’t sound ideal

Watford are one of those clubs I just don't pay much attention to. The short termism is unrivalled, much like the managers, you have a short spell to make an impression of you're considered crap.

He's a young kid, he's still only 21 yet he's had 20 PL appearances, most of which were starts, plus 20+ games in the Championship.

I love these types of signings, they don't break the bank but they give us some proper competition from a young lad with high potential

Maybe we are finally sacking off 5 at the back…

WhoScored lists crossing as one of Ngakia’s weaknesses but his defensive stats like tackling and interceptions are listed as strengths. Seems more like a traditional right-back than a wing-back in that case.

I watched West Brom vs Watford last night and the quality of crosses Jed Wallace was making was sublime. If we had a player like that putting crosses in for Oscar and Tetteh, I don’t think scoring would be an issue anymore.

We are really missing Fleming for that, his ability to beat a man too.

If we can sign a #10, a defensive midfielder and a right-back, I think we’re set for this window.

Regarding how we fit them all in, it’s a long, gruelling season and we’ve already had our fair share of injuries. It would be daft to assume Seri, Slater and Tufan will play all 46 league games this season. Also, our bench is rather weak.

I think we could also do with another striker.

Really? Do you have A list of importance? Thanks.
Really? Said no one ever.

That’s more important than a 10 for me. I understand the context of our side at present but we looked entirely overwhelmed when Preston pressed

While I agree a defensive midfielder would be handy, we need something more creative in the middle. We can win games if we can score goals without a defensive mid, we can't win if we can't create anything and score goals.
