Would be a good signing

hes more of a second striker - good passing and dribbling . Not the best shooter or goal scorer. More of a number 10

Just watching Acun's press conference earlier today and mentions the term young talent when talking about incomings so Hallil would definitely fit the bill

Judging by the press conference seems like acun has a lot more money to spend . Only trouble is to convince players to come to hull and possibly ffp

which is not a bad thing to hear i guess

I don't really get why we're potentially going for 2 more forwards if we're only signing 3 more players in total. We've got gaping holes elsewhere.

Baz said he was in addition

Yeah very confused as well as this would suggest we're not trying to sign a number 10, unless this guy can play there as well as striker perhaps.

He seems to be someone they like a lot but at this moment it seems unlikely that Brentford will let him go. Maybe he could be a late one in the window when Brentford bring in a few others.

There's actually a decent argument that we should be targeting 2 no.10s and not just one. We've spent good money in wages on top forwards but it appears that we've forgot that we actually need somebody to create chances for them. Maybe the players we want haven't been available but it's just weird

It seems quite apparent we need multiple creative midfielders to supplement our number 8s/defensive mids, but maybe in order to know that we should be scouts. ;)

He can play there as well apparently but rarely has in his career

I speculated on the pod but I wonder if someone like Aly could be deployed as a 10. I know he's better out wide, but last season he dropped deep quite a bit to supply Eaves/KLP up forward, so wonder if we'd experiment with him in that role for the short term.

I certainly wouldn’t be against it he needs to be on the ball as much as possible for me, although given his pace I’d love him to be on the shoulder more with someone threading balls for him to run onto.

Agreed, he just seems our most creative player who is most capable of playing a dynamic role. And playing as a 10 he could still end up playing off the shoulder off the defender if he was involved in overlaps with Oscar. For instance could imagine a sharp one-two between them to play in Aly.

I might be overthinking things or simplifying things but that seems the best solution to me short term. Also would allow us to play all three of Tetteh (if he's ready), Oscar and Aly in a 3-5-2.

We've been picked in the balls a bit with Adama as he would've been a creative spark & now to lose Sinik for 3/4 weeks is frustrating. Even Longman has been struggling so our options are pretty depleted.

I won't lie, I think we need another 5 signings but I can't see us getting them. But if we have a bad start, I'm sure there will be a knee jerk reaction. The recruitment could've been all but done had we kept Honeyman, Smallwood & even Eaves for the season. Honeyman & Smallwood would probably have started tomorrow

Tetteh will surprise a few I think. When the Peterborough player went through him and he got up without rolling around I’ve never seen a professional footballer look so scared in all my years.

I think 5 may still happen as I think Cannon, Wilks, T Smith (loan), Scott are all yet to leave

He must've watched the highlights of the Ghana game where he twatted someone.

I hope he's not risked from the start tomorrow, we really can't afford to lose him.

For who? Think Slater and Seri start tomorrow and would have wanted them to even if Smallwood was here. Don't think we're depleted in that area of the pitch. Docherty could start as the 10 but not sure how much I'd trust him, even though he has had a good pre-season by all reports. Will be an interesting line up.

Game's today for me now! Just watching a replay of Burnley-Hudd to get in the mood but rather excited. My Aussie Rules team has their derby game this arvo for a place in the top four, then I have my own football match in the evening then it's the countdown to midnight for City.
