I’d take this guy with a pinch of salt. Contrary to what has been said, he didn’t actually break the Seri link. He reported it almost a week after we were linked with Seri.

He broke that it was close though and he did break the Haji Wright interest, so he's clearly getting a bit of info from somewhere

He broke Haji Wright being the initial target. He broke that Seri was done (even if we had a hiccup). I’ve seen him talk about 4 City related items and all have eventually been true.

I think he learnt from the Haji Wright story to not overshoot his shot and not say things were done too early. He'd be some signing, it's just a shame he's a bit old

I think to be fair with him he got that right to some extent. He said we’d agreed a fee which others have gone on to say. Obviously that didn’t come to fruition due to his other options.

I’ve seen Miha Zajc being thrown around as a potential City target again in Turkish press. Linked in January so interest is there but nothing this summer. Potentially the number 10?

Journo seems reputable but sounded throw away talking about them just wishing to move him on.

Him not mentioning Nwakaeme but ruling out the other 2 pretty much confirms our interest imo. Be a cracking signing but I do wonder how he'll fit in with Sinik

I’m wondering how much Allahyar is considered to be a nailed on starter. Him or Sinik presumably isn’t seen to be nailed on.

From pre season I’d say he’s nailed on. Can play either wing and striker so he’ll pretty much always start in a 3-4-3/3-5-2/4-3-3

We'll have Sinik and AN Other competing on the left of the 3. Longman and Ali competing on the right of the 3 and Oscar and and Tetteh competing for the 9. That's how it looks (fitness and form allowing) to me at this stage. Helps that Ali can play all 3 positions though.

From Baz’s articles about Shota’s messages at pre season of “pressing” he’s effectively nailed on for me. He replaces Honeyman’s legs along with more quality in final third meaning we can add more quality centrally by having him lead the press
