I agree. If he goes, it will be to a Prem team like KLP. Bizarre for him to say we’re open to offers though. I don’t think Kesler or Acun have said they’re open to offers for KLP.

If the club really wanted to keep Greaves, they’d say ‘not for sale’.

Greaves is not ready for a Premier League team yet. He'd be out of his depth. He needs either another couple of seasons or an interim move to get there

That’s doing him a big injustice. In a back 3 he’d bed into a premier league side well.

Saw a few people saying £40k a week for Muriqi would be too much but I didn't see anyone moan about giving a holding midfielder who turns 31 in a fortnight £30k.

No transfer fee alongside it though is only reason why I brought it up. Haji Wright a full international for £2m or £10m + £40k a week for Muriqi.

Just think it makes for an interesting choice for the recruitment team as Haji wants to be the main man but wouldn’t be if Muriqi came

But the Haji price means he's got a long list of suitors and we'll probably miss out. I'd take Muriqi all day though. Pretty much 1 in 2 at international level and a proper striker. If that £10m is £6m + £4m in addons, I'd be delighted. Still cost a fraction what a Brereton Diaz would and he's only scored goals for 6 months in his career

If Haji was £4m, he'd probably be our player by now assuming we'd be willing to pay the fee

The problem with Muriqi is at 28 it will be nearly impossible to recoup our money on him. Even if he does well for a couple season will we get £12m for a 30 year old?

I'd still take him though, in a good team I feel he could put up Mitrovic numbers and that's worth more than £12m to us.

It was more just me thinking cautiously about how we spend money. I’d still love to see him join us because as you say comparing him to some of the domestic alternatives he offers much greater value for money.

He's one, we'd be almost certain to lose money on. But he's probably got 4-6 good years left. If he gets us up, it's money well spent.

There's also got to be a balance, not every player we sign can be to make a profit on. We need some players that are a little older to lead us. We've already got Greaves, Fleming and Allahyar who we should make good money on in the future and that's without taking into account whoever else we sign in the remainder of the window.

I'm consider KLP as gone too.

I'd rather see us do it on a top striker, rather than a holding midfielder. Nothing against Seri, extremely good player

Yoksulu just been released by Celta Vigo, he was good for West Brom in the Premier League. Would be a good option instead of Seri

Ye, I've seen that posted.

It's one of those which would make sense. I read a few WBA fans comments on twitter and they seemed to think the club messed up by not doing everything to keep him.

It's been a bit of a quiet week for transfers, I wonder if the club have tried to keep more under wraps after missing out on a few
