Timing of Giacom news might indicate tomorrow is the big day. Announce new kit with new sponsor and with new players (i.e. the ones we already know about). If (very likely) the new sponsor is Turkish then bigging up the Tufan announcement would work well.

It has taken one man 6 months to give the club more global recognition than the previous hierarchy managed during their entire period of ownership. Incredible really.
That's ridiculous.
Notwithstanding the re-branding nonsense of the Allams, they got us into the Premier League which by default we became a globally recognised team because we were playing in the same league as the "big six".
I'm not complaining about having lots of followers from Turkey but they would piss off as quickly as the came if our owner left, as did the Egyptian supporters when the Allams left.
Still, you can’t knock Acun. He’s a real doer - I think he’s going to be great for us. I bet he’d probably do a better job of selling marine generators as well.

They could have just registered the 'Hull tigers' trademark and used it abroad without changing the name. It was never about that anyway.
Italy didn't need to change playing name to 'azzurri' to successfully brand themselves as such. ManUre didn't change old Trafford name to theatre of dreams to use that branding. It was all just Assems bee in his bonnet.
As it stands, Acun's revolution isn't even been taken seriously in the league we are in, never mind globally.
Whilst we aren't relegation favourites, there are 14 other teams that the bookmakers fancy more than us.
Like you, I hope Acun turns his enthusiasm into a team that can compete, but we can't even get a League one player to choose us over a club that isn't large enough to qualify to be called a city.
