Baxter
Emmanuel Greaves Figueiredo Fleming
Ozan Seri Traore
Wright Muriqi KLP

Would be pretty impressive.

Millwall Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of George Honeyman from Hull City.

The 27-year-old joins The Lions on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.

The attacking midfielder began his career at Sunderland, where he spent five seasons, including gaining Premier League experience, before moving on to Hull City in 2019.

A main part of the side which won the Sky Bet League One title in 2020/21 - alongside George Long - Honeyman impressed in a creative role for The Tigers, before making 36 Championship appearances and scoring five goals last season.

Honeyman joins Zian Flemming in flying out to Millwall's pre-season training camp in the Republic of Ireland and will meet his new team-mates for the first time on Tuesday.

Great news.

Just seen that Josh Kind has been released by Watford, wonder if he'd be worth a go as a backup striker, scored 6 in the prem last year.

Why terrible? Club accepted an offer. Do you know better?

Terrible because he was one of our best performing players who played many times through the pain barrier when he was injured and always gave 100% , well worth paying this man's wages over unknown new signings in my opinion I can't believe some of you didn't rate him.

It is sad, just terrible is a bit dramatic. No?

No, not really if you liked Honeyman as a player. It is pretty terrible. He was a fan favourite and a big character at the club.

People criticised the Allams for running the club as a business but now people are expected to be emotionless about players coming and going. Not for me.

Not emotionless, I'd have liked him to stay but football has always been this way and we're bringing in players who on paper are a step up in order to progress.

It's hardly Bowen leaving and being replaced by an unknown kid from Scotland for a fraction of the price.

He'll get a warm reception from us (me included) on his return

I just don't see it as terrible.
