Where did I say that?

?

You were responding to someone who said Baz said these were imminent and your response was 'well plenty of other things haven't been announced either'. It's either a strange non-sequitor or you were suggesting we shouldn't be surprised that it wasn't imminent.

Long time since I’ve seen It, but I’ll give it a go.

There’s this supernatural clown thing terrorising kids (for reasons I can’t quite remember) – it’s a right nasty bastard though.

Then, the kids somehow fight back later in the film and it turns out It is not a clown, It is some sort of spider.

Anyway, they tan it at the end.
Brilliant...just fcuking brilliant

Looks like the needle is climbing steadily upwards on the frustrationometer. It's Friday, and zero feelgood vibes with this lack of incomings.
Not just the 'frustrationometer' but also (for some) the 'doubtometer' and 'trustometer'.
I find it really odd and surprising that the club haven't continued these past days and weeks with a string of positive announcements to build on the feel good factor. There's surely all sorts they could be saying, instead of going on near radio silence and, presumably, saving things up until all ducks are nicely in a row for a big announcement. Wrong decision imo, even more so given our history.

I was just thinking the same thing, given how the Allams left everything to the last minute & Acun’s come in saying this & that, making all the right noises, but now “some people,” possibly doubting him.

Reactions: Gone For A Walk
TBH, once Burnley were involved, it was probably never going any other way, recently relegated PL side, looking to bounce back at the first attempt, big name manager to make it look convincing.
I think, even I’d choose Burnley!
Yep.
Our 'vision' should be tempting, but, inspite of their problems, Burnley are way ahead of us in some respects. Previously 'established' PL side who invested in their infrastructure .... like we should have done but didn't.
Disappointed but not that surprised.

Well the lack of news is becoming a saga to rival the takeover. Whats next a betting thread to predict what page this thread will get to before a signing(s) annoucement is made as was done with the takeover. Everyone has a theory as to why no accouncements have been made and I gotta to say that it is becoming to look a bit ominous. Acun put us out of our misery, you are beginning to get some doubters as to your stated intentions, make an annoucement.

I don't think there's anything remotely ominous, I just expect the signings to be formally announced when the players are actually here, which is next week.

July got to be patient.
Let’s hope they have paid the suppliers by then (apparently)
