Allahyar has been on international duty half way round the world, then had to go back to Turkey to sort out moving his stuff and then has been on holiday. He’s only just back in the country.

I completely appreciate that. I just mean, that if we were desperate to announce, we could have. It could be pending work permits or anything, I just don't see the point in an announcement like that when they aren't in the City.
It also didn't make sense to me to have them holding up an old shirt or next year's third shirt.

Yeah think that's exactly it. If we weren't told constantly 'such and such player is DONE and SIGNED announcement IMMINENT' and then a week went by, no one would be wondering what's going on.
