60k seems unrealistic, but 40k pw would be 4mil over 2 years which if we get a player on a free wouldn't be too crazy in that context.
Remember Kevin Stewart cost us something like 40k a game not so long ago....
It's not £60k a week, but I've heard it's a hell of a lot higher than anything any of our current lads are on.
Whatever we're paying, it's a cracking signing (provided Simon Walton stays the **** away from our training ground).
Not a bad signing as cover, we were after him a few years ago. Certainly does a job with contributions to goals.

As with half the transfer stories at the moment, this story is almost certainly complete nonsense.
Could be £60k a month. In this day and age £15k a week is a cracking salary.

Would be a pointless signing on par with us signing Cannon last summer. May as well have kept Eaves.
He’s scored double figures at this level before. You won’t get much better for someone who’d most likely be aware he’s coming to sit on the bench. Scored the same number of championship goals in 1 season then Eaves has in his career.

I guess but 10 in 44 isn’t that much better than Eaves’ 5 in 31 in the season just gone. You also have to wonder why he wasn’t kept on by Rotherham now they’ve been promoted.
