If we are spending this without any guarantees of him leaving as of yet it could really take our side to another level if it is spent well. Id throw a decent contract at Jed Wallace if he did leave. Established replacement straight in the door.

In other news, West Brom apparently paying over £30k a week to John Swift good championship player but shows the level we are competing with to get them which probably explains the foreign strategy

I read plenty of comments that said Allahyar wasn't great yet he's been a complete revelation for us.

Watford paid a loan fee of anything between £500k-£1m (depending where you look) along with an option to buy for £7.5m ish. He's obviously not crap and a few years ago, Fenerbahce quoted Leicester £20m.

We're getting him for £4m, it hardly seems like we're getting our pants pulled down

My only concern is keeping harmony in the dressing room. But no doubt Shota and Acun will have taken this into account.

I didn't say we would not be spending anymore money, I said that the agent had told me he didn't think the club would be going wild like many thought when 'wealthy' new owners came in. Same as what happened at Newcastle I guess.

KLP money would likely change that.
 
5 clubs interested, could spark a bidding war, especially with the lack of young talented forwards in the championship now Brennan Johnson is Premier League
