I just don't see how we need Onomah, Pelkas and Dave (Brentford) along with Traore when he's fit, all fighting for #10 role.

Well we aren't playing with a number 10 anyway if we're going to be playing with wing backs, not sure why everybody is clamouring for one. Pelkas as far as I'm aware isn't close to any sort of agreement. We could sign him, but I wouldn't have thought we'd sign Dervisoglu as well as they're both similar players to Allahyar and that's who they would be covering. You never know what irons are in the fire (unless said irons arrive in my texts), but I can't see us overloading on attacking midfielders when the formation we will play won't even use them.

The formation at the moment is quite flexible I think, depending on who's available. For example, towards the end of last season and early this pre-season we played 343, the front 3 being 2 wingers and a lone striker. But once we sold KLP and Sinik was injured, we were very short on wingers so for the Bristol game Shota switched to a 532 or 5212, with Ozan operating further up the pitch than Seri & Slater, almost like a 10 even though its not his natural position, which is why I think Shota wants a proper no.10.

The club basically tell Baz "no" to everything he asks about (even if it's true) which is why he has to back track on stuff all the time.

I don't know why he bothers saying anything then. Unless he knows something for sure seems like it's just adding a lot of noise.
