I've got to admit, I didn't think we would manage it, the contract is a big one for us financially but nowhere near what he was offered elsewhere. Its a gigantic statement of intent from all at the club and I'm absolutely delighted if I'm honest

Yes, for us it's big. But not prepared to spill that kind of info online as i don't think it's fair on the player ( plus I can never be 100% sure it's correct )

Exactly, the value of KLP as a player would be included in the value of the club and the sale price as would any asset. Putting daft clauses in would be preposterous and wide open to loopholes and abuse like sending him on loan for 2 years.

At the time of sale, folk were scoffing at the idea the club may be worth £30m.

I come on here and its just as bad..we are in a much better place as a club..chasing much better players(on paper) let's sit back and enjoy the upcoming roller coaster of a season whatever happens..I'm pretty confident we will finish higher than 19th.
