Anyway, new home shirt is nice.
Could we have an arguments thread for those that think we want to read all that ****e
It seems that whilst we weren’t triggering George’s contract extension, or talking to him about a new contract, Millwall jumped in & spoke to him, convinced him they wanted him. So he’d already decided to go before we even hit his extension, it seems Millwall made him fee wanted.
If this is true, it’s slightly disappointing, especially when they were saying they were talking to players about new contracts.

One of the stupidest decisions for a long time letting George go.
I enjoy reading most of the comments, but not the bickering. If that could be moved onto another thread, then we can have the best of both worlds. I don't like ignoring people, we all have some good and some bad in us.It amazes me how many people forget there is a very simple solution to all this.

The trouble with that is, putting two or three posters on ignore, makes it all unintelligible. It amazes me how many people forget there is a very simple solution to all this.

Was excellent from the get go. I can see a premier league side, say a Brighton, putting in for him.
on City. Have we lost Adama Traore already to injury? Ironically he sounds like a player, from the past, with the same initials. One Alton Thelwell. Referred to by all as Unwell. Good forbid we've signed another sicknote.
In some ways I agree it's not worth arguing the toss over, but on the other hand some are already undermining the new regime with their comments and also lauding the Allams for being really good business owners. Sorry but that's just not right.
Tan said he offered Honeyman double his existing money. Is that lowballing? Who knows, certainly not you.Regarding Honeyman (and Greaves) and Tans comments. Firstly, you confirm, as we know, you don't know what's been on the table. Secondly, exactly as I said, they have obviously assessed Honeymans worth to the club and were not prepared to pay more.
Tan said he offered Honeyman double his existing money. Is that lowballing? Who knows. As you say, they assessed his value as not more than double.
Did he say he offered him double? Must have missed that bit in the interview, I heard him say that he tried to fix the Allams deal but didn't offer Honeyman enough money.

As you say though, they assessed his value as not more than double what the Allams gave him.
That’s what I was wondering, our average wage can’t be more then £5k a week…What was he on though?
