Can we add Julio to the group? Great character from the other side of the world, who embraced northeast life.
I remember a club video where he was getting filmed doing keepy-upys. The guy off camera is about to throw the ball to Julio, and says "Ready?" Julio grins and says "Aye" in the broadest Wearside accent you can get. Great stuff.

Harsh on Julio to say asked to leave he did stay the first time. He should have went sooner if anything. Married a Mackem didn’t he and settled here?
Deffo for Benno. I wouldn't put Marco in even though I was gutted when he left.

To be truthful, there's not that many I can think of off the top of my head. Maybe Xhaka, Enzo, Hume and Ballard as well as LON from the current squad

I only thought of Xhaka on the back of the pictures shown before he gave his speech after the last game. The way he was looking around and drinking it all in and those words that were attributed to him there other day about him being happy here. But personally I really think we've got under his skin like we did with Quinny. And I definitely agree with you about the pre match screen!!
He is aye. And we are stacked there. Wager Talbi and Angulo both level up.
