Phillips can’t have it for me for the head drop after Niall went, Cattermole close. Schwarz and Cana weren’t here long enough (but continue to shout out the club), Tommy close. Reidy was just too died in wool Scouse. Marco maybe?

Don’t think any of them would make the cut.

Does Benno go in though? I think I’d put Benno in there.

Another right footed left winger? We have plenty of them already - also think Angulo and Talbi will kick on again next season.

If we were to get £120 million for reinforcements... That's a dream; I don't believe we'll have that much money at our disposal, but we'll see.

Coventry, as the winner of the Championship, plans to invest around 40 million euros in reinforcements, but they have had an expensive and strong team with which they attacked the Premier League for two years. Ipswich is reportedly preparing around 80 million.

Edit: maybe forget the obscure bit, just seen he's linked with City, Chelsea, and Newcastle <laugh>. Mad thing is, if we can match the financials, I actually think we'd be the best option of the 4, and I don't think it's particularly close.

Man City, Chelsea, Brighton, Mags and us allegedly after him and some already bid in region of 21m. Will be quite the dogfight if all are after him.
