Twist on this for me is simply when you sell you use the additional funds to buy better and build. The aim is to be the top 6 club rather than just sell to them, getting into Europe and build the income stream further.
Aye that'll be the plan but we have to build to that first. I also can't see us ever not recruiting in similar markets we are now in future. So much value for money abroad

Just supposing we did qualify for Europe even the minor ones would our players want to go? Yes they can go to bigger clubs, yes they can earn more money but their is a camaraderie here and the players are still young.
I would like to think the "project" that has been sold to them would mean some of them would give us another season to see how we do.

Probably dreaming and more hopeful than anything but lets see.
There will be a few you'd imagine that are like this. But I tend to not focus too much on the sentinimental side as it's just rare from players in the long run. Once the clubs come in, it doesn't take that much to start tempting a player

Yes mate. We kept hearing about the new signings being sold the project. I can't imagine it was as simple as "We stay up comfortably this season". The players will have bought in to the longer-term project, so providing it is on track, I can't see many being in a hurry to jump ship.

Hope we try for some British lads in the summer, I get theyre a premium price, but there will be deals to be had. Charlie Cresswell or Harwood-Bellis as centre back options for instance.

Would think the UCL rules for United or top 5 team for a midfielder post world cup will mean home grown so Anderson or wharton.

Rudiger willing to accept a big pay cut to come back to England.. Chelsea have snubbed the chance to re-sign him with Spurs and Palace interested. Sign him up Kyril <cool>

Celtic or Rangers for me as Butland and K.S will need replacing and even with their issues with have some form of europe competition for his Dutch hopes going forward.
