If last summer taught us anything its that rumours will be just that and we will keep everything close to our chests.

I do think we will hit another season at least out off all the current team as they have all seem to have bought into the project and all want to be playing every game.

Oh and KLD will persuade his mate Dembele to join our awesome project

If it were Sadiki to leave I think we would get at least 60 million upfront, they will pay for what he is and what he is to become, I hope we can convince them all to stay because I think Sadiki goes up a notch next season and we are looking at our first 100 million sale the summer after. I can see him at Madrid.

I don't see why anyone in England would want Roefs now, they all have top keepers. Why anyone would leave us for Spurs on the back of this season, I dont know.

I have given up on Amad now.

I also think we break our transfer record, but just once.

All our players look happy playing here & as a number have said the club will be looking for progression. To me the only think that derails players wanting to be here is **** stirring from agents who have no real interest in their players development but ideally wish to shift them on from club to club every season to get big pay days, sadly this is issue majority of clubs face.....fingers crossed we have some of the better agents representing our players

Its been well stated there is still plenty room in PSR for us, this being the case & PL status secured i see the club massively stepping up scouting & player identification now, with the aim of taking advantage of those clubs struggling with PSR & getting some deals done before July 1st first so the finances hit this season, we could find some incredible value

The club are in a great position and it’s down to good management.

I will hold my hands up and say I wanted the club to speculate more when we were in the championship but doing what we did has allowed us the room to go for a higher calibre player when we got to the premier league. Like I say, good management and hopefully we'll get that extra bit of quality in in the summer to complement our very good squad.

Luke I say, food management and hopefully we'll get that extra bit of quality in in the summer to complement our very good squad.
I never knew that O9's food prep had, had such a major impact :emoticon-0140-rofl:
Ok I'll get my coat

Hang on, did someone try a quick edit there

I know he isn't ours at the moment but after the Liverpool interest do we push through the permanent Gerrti deal if he wants it.
Unfortunately it's the curse of the utility player who can't tie down a slot in the team for a lad of his quality he doesn't get the minutes.

There’s so many ways we could do deals with these players now.

Ideally, we keep them all, yes. But if we gonna lose players, the calibre they are we can gain and use it to progress.

An example say Chelsea wants Sadiki (likely) then we want some money and either Andriy Santos or Romeo Lavia.

Deals like that can minimise any derailment of the progress whilst solidifying the financial growth.

We haven’t had this opportunity before as frankly nobody has wanted our players.

We’ve broken the transfer record multiple times under Kyril, but the top sale has remained. That will get absolutely obliterated when we lose a crown jewel.

Hear what you say about looking at players in exchange. Slight problem might be the money Chelsea pay in wages.

Yeah it’s a factor, but Chelsea sell players to Spain and such and they manage to pay them.

If we take Veiga going to Villarreal in summer, permanent deal, there’s no way they matched his Chelsea salary. He wanted to play.

The way our recruitment has been we aren’t going after players who don’t want to play, so there’s a middle ground to be had.

We’ve broken managed to pay Xhaka, we’ve uplifted wages and it will continue as we progress. I think we all have faith the club knows where the line is.

We can’t afford at Enzo Fernandez salary but we can probably go close to the 2 mentioned, or pay them slightly less over a longer guaranteed contract.

Think you've hut the nail on the head with "want to play". The attitude of the players we've signed recently has been first class. We just need to sideline the money grabbing agent, or tell them to do one. Which I believe we may have done with one potential signing in the summer when the deal very publicly fell through.

Would it not be more beneficial to receive a fee in full and then sign someone as per the financial rules, you'd also assume that there wouldnt be a derailment in progress as we wouldnt sell him without a replacement anyway.

Aye I’m sure in financial terms it can be, point I was making was we could now be in a position to leverage these kind of deals and gain players.

Clearly if there’s a monster fee on offer and no player there that is gonna help us then that’s fine, but there’s rich pickings at the top clubs with bloated squads.

Yeah I just don't think we would ever want to

I think people are talking about players leaving because that’s the reality of the premier league in 2026 and it’s literally our model and it won’t be changing any time soon.

If big offers come in from a top 6 side and the player fancies it we won’t step in the way, we will bank the profit and find the next gem to replace them.

Thats how you have to survive in this league outside of the rich clubs club.

I would actually get used to that if I could offer any advice at all. It’ll be easier at that point haha.

It’s not necessarily a bad thing either and it doesn’t mean we will sell a load of them too. But some of the hotter prospects will be tempted away it’s jus the reality
