I would move on from Evans. I would like us to sign a young up and coming defender to learn from Morgan and Huth. We have Maguire who is ready now and worse case scenario we have to keep Benalouane

The ideal signings at the moment for me, but (if you take swap deals out of the equation) are we likely to have a £80-90m summer transfer window?

Could Iheanacho and Vardy work with Vardy dropping into the Okazaki position? These players would surely guide our play more towards through balls rather than balls over the top for Vardy to chase.

... we probably have that now in the lad we have just signed from Chester FC ... to become club captain at 19 yeras of age in a right old tough men's league is no mean feat <ok>
 
We are linked with Che Adams, the 20yr old forward from Brum - is from Leicester so might fancy a return home if true.
 
We are being linked with Italian CB Gian Marco Ferrari from Crotone and have apparently offered £15M for Jonny Evans,
 
We are being linked with Sam Clucas - was in our academy so would be a return if it happens.

There are also rumours of a potential swap deal involving Slimani for Aleksandar Mitrovic + cash from Newcastle. Doubt it will happen but I would be ok with that tbh - could work as Mitrovic can play as a #10 behind Vardy while Slimani struggled to last season.

He is a player that I like - is a nutter though but is only 22 and we could resign Wasyl make sure he calms down...

Another player that I like that I wish we would go for is Will Hughes - is close to signing for Watford for just £8M.

Brighton are linked with Musa and we are being linked with Ezgjan Alioski who is a Macedonian winger.

Wouldnt mind this one to be fair, seemed pretty competent, im not sure he'd be a great improvement on what we have already though.

Tbf i didn't see Mitrovic last year, but the year before he was careless with a bad attitude, certainly wasn't the signing that Newcastle thought he would be.

Think Slimani still has something more to offer us, would only sell him for a unrefusable amount.

Hughes's stock has certainly decreased since the season he got them into the playoffs in 2013/14. Still young, but like Clucas, don't think he offers much different to what we have.

Clucas is no better than Amartey/James/King We need to be aiming higher than the level of Clucas if we want to progress..

Don't think we made an offer - we made an enquiry, his chairman uncle said £30m and we said sod it, we'll go after Maguire instead.
