Apparently Arsenal are ready of offload Oxlade-Chaimberlain for around £25m - maybe to make space for Mahrez?

There is a good possiblity of him being offered as part of a deal - I would welcome him personally.

I'd love it, but wonder if he'd rather be a fringe player in a champions league side.
 
I'm sure I've seen a rumour linking us to Barkley? Could be a good fit in the Okasaki role.

Calum Chambers could be available too - that could be worth enquiring about
 
Also, Will Hughes for £8m in this current market? Missed a trick there. A bit lightweight but with an excellent range of passing.

I do love the obscure ones - particularly when they aren't a development 17-18 year old and actually a 20-24 year old

I cannot believe there wasn't even anyone else linked with him - I know his development has halted slightly in recent seasons but still a hell of an asset and it was only 2-3 years ago he was linked to every single club including Barcelona - there was an article about it recently

He was the face of Hodgson's England as he was a favourite and got picked over the likes of Drinkwater even though he wasn't on form, and didn't really impress at Bournemouth.
 
It's been reported that Swansea have rejected £27m from Everton for Siggurdson - they want around £35m for him.

Maybe we could offer £40 million and Mahrez - that's got to be worth about £35 million and solves 2 problems. <laugh>
 
We are linked with Nathan Ake from Chelsea - is a good player but is reportedly going to be £20m which is taking the mick a bit.

We are also linked with George Thomas a 20yr old forward who is a free agent atm but scored the goal that won Coventry the prestigious Checatrade trophy.

Raneiri wants Mendy from us - lad had no chance to show us what he can do last season due to injuries and is contracted until 2020 so would take a big offer.

Seems like the standard going rate for young players that are 99% ready for first team action, didn't we bid £30m for Keane last summer?

True, theres probably a case to say that Akes price is based on "future potential" whereas Smallings seems like more of a "get rid" price.

Would be very surprised if Smallings wage demands are anywhere near the same as Akes.
 
Ake is very very good and from what I've seen he is more talented than Smalling. My best mate is a Bournemouth fan so I've watched quite a bit and he was incredible.
 
We are linked with Grégoire Defrel again - most likely in case the Iheanacho deal falls apart.

Lawrence is linked with Newcastle for £10m - looks like we are tempted to sell for some reason.

Adrien Silva wants to leave Sporting and is available for £26m - bet they wished they accepted £39m from us in Jan.

Mahrez has apparently agreed to join Arsenal on a 4 year contract - offer from them looks to be £35m + £5m addons but we should stick to our guns and demand £50m, especially if Sigurdsson will cost around £40m.
