Apparently Andre Dozzell is available from Ipswich for £5m and Norwich have turned their noses at it. Personally would love to see him hear and would complete that in a heartbeat. So much potential.
 
Shinji is close to signing for Malaga

And we have signed Mitch Clarke after he was released from Villa. One for the U23’s
 
So we play Atalanta on Friday night. Surely that must be the cut off for Harry Maguire as there will only just 5 days left in the window after that game. Plus thats all our preparations complete

Other then having about 10 medicals Man U havent come close to signing Maguire and time is running out fast

They were only £10m short last time weren’t they? Agree on the date though, got to be. Suprised it wasn’t yesterday tbh. Personally think he’ll go.

Half expecting Man Utd to meet our figure on deadline day and then look suprised when we say no.

Club proved with Mahrez we wont sell ourselves short by dealing last minute deals

I personally dont think he will leave. I havent all summer
 
Maguire has missed training because of illness and a lot of the rags are reporting that this is proof that he wants to leave or something - got to love our media...

We have signed 20yo fullback Mitch Clark on a free - apparently is more than half decent so hopefully we will have depth at fullback.

We are being linked with 18yo midfielder Callum Hulme from Bury.

It is alarmingly quiet though on exits

We have had 2 piss poor bids rejected for Maguire. Talk of interest from Turkey in Diabate, Interest in Turkey in taking Soyuncu on loan which I believe will happen if Maguire stays, Mendy is being linked with St. Ettiene

Jakupovic may stay now Iversen has gone out on loan

We have until the end of August to move Slimani and Silva on to clubs outside of England

Then there is still King, James, Ghezzal and possibly Amartey to move on from the first team

Either loan or permanents need sorting for Knight, Elder, Moore, Johnson, Kapustka from the development squad
 
Islam Slimani has made some interesting comments

Regarding my future; I am, for the moment, in Leicester.

"We will see what happens next.

I still have two years on my contract.

"Now, the most important thing is to go back to Leicester.

"My priority is to stay there, it's the best championship in the world."
 
We are linked with the awesomely named Angolan CB Bastos from Lazio. Doubt man would be a replacement for Maguire but maybe for Soyuncu or Benkovic who are still rumoured to be leaving on loan.

Isn't Mendy injured? Heard he got a bad knock in his last preseason game.

All of the foreign clubs prefer that the players have a preseason with us as we do it better then them - any moves will happen a couple of days before the transfer window close as they try to negotiate a better deal for themselves.

Thats rubbish. If a club wants a player they will go after him rather then risk losing him to someone else just so he can have a pre season elsewhere

Plus clubs like getting players in to spend pre season getting to know their new teamates

Just simple fact no one wants our deadwood that much. Clubs might take a gamble later on in the window
