Isn't Mendy injured? Heard he got a bad knock in his last preseason game. All of the foreign clubs prefer that the players have a preseason with us as we do it better then them - any moves will happen a couple of days before the transfer window close as they try to negotiate a better deal for themselves.

If a club wants a player they will go after him rather then risk losing him to someone else just so he can have a pre season elsewhere Plus clubs like getting players in to spend pre season getting to know their new teamates Just simple fact no one wants our deadwood that much. Clubs might take a gamble later on in the window
