So, what we think happens next?

Couple of outies before a couple coming in??

Cornet looks likely, do we still think we are after a strapping striker to conclude what would be a great window…

Bit odd to sign him on loan. Presumably the purchase option is a formality - just need to ship some players out first.
MLS season ends in two games for New England, the Revs are a bit far off to get a playoff place so their season will be done in September and won't resume until March/April time. Means it's effectively a trial period for him to come and train and play a bit and then we can make a decision on him in time for their new season. Arsenal did similar in the past with Auston Trusty (Colorado Rapids)

Ah that makes sense. He is meant to be a very promising talent so I do hope we make the move permanent.

Asked an American friend who watches MLS routinely and got this back: He's good. Like really good. He's also amusing because he's English but speaks with a strong American accent.

More when we have it

Update: Says he isn't anything flashy but a very mature, composed centre mid. Good range of passing, plays some great deep balls for wide players and forwards, just very tidy and high IQ for his age

I assume he has English parents but raised in America? Or born here and moved there at a very young age?
