Lesley is not a similar player in any way to either Carvalho or O’Riley20 year old attacking mid who has barely played for the first team over there. If it’s true, after Blackmores comments about wanting both Carvalho and O’Riley, maybe we’ve pivoted to Fernandes and Ugochukwu
He doesn't appear to be a goal scorer.Record in Portugal now running the story too

It sounds like Alcaraz is off from the rumours of talks with Flamengo. Or we are at least entertaining bidsYeah I get that but purely from a numbers perspective we can’t have them all.
Charles looks likely to be going according to SF86, so that would leave us with Downes, Smallbone, Fernandes, O’Riley, Aribo, Ugochukwu and Alcaraz if everyone else stayed
If we get both O’Riley and Fernandes then Alcaraz is definitely off.
In this scenario the hope would be that Fernandes replaces Alcaraz as the “promising attacking mid” who hopefully fits Martins style better, and Charles comes back after a loan much improved and takes Ugochukwu’s spot when he returns to Chelsea. Definitely possible that is what the club is thinking. Very unlikely that they keep all the current midfield (minus Charles even) and sign Fernandes and O’Riley
Not many central midfielders are.He doesn't appear to be a goal scorer.
I thought we are looking for an attacking mid, an MOr alternative, S Armstrong even. Not many central midfielders are.
Maybe we want to upgrade on Aribo as well? It’s not clear whether or not this guy is instead of O’Riley. Seems a different type of player. But maybe the price has just got too high for O’RileyI thought we are looking for an attacking mid, an MOr alternative, S Armstrong even.
That’s a positive sign. Wonder if that means more outgoings than just Charles and Alcaraz. Because Aribo’s wages seem too high for a club of our size to have him as a reserve. But not sure anyone will take himWe seem to want Two more midfielders.
Looks good. Likes to run at players breaking the lines which is a need we require. Looks to be comfortable with both feet. And from a few reports I’ve seen he seems pretty highly rated?Okay, okay, here you go.
